Misty
Meadows is a bright, well-ventilated barn with a well
lit riding arena. The barn has 15 large 10x12 ft box
stalls with rubber mats, automatic waterers and windows
in each stall. We also offer 9 pony stalls of various
sizes in a separate barn. Stalls are mucked daily and
bedded with clean, dry shavings. Horses are fed a
minimum of 6 times a day which includes 2 individual
grain feedings. Horses are consistently monitored to
ensure their daily requirements are met. Daily turnout
is included with the boarding and boots and blankets are
put on as required at no extra charge. Turnout is on
large grass paddocks with a maximum of 4 horses per
paddock. Misty Meadows staff are trained to keep a
watchful eye on horses to ensure their health and
safety. Ferrier work and herd health are constantly
monitored to ensure horses are in excellent health.
An indoor wash stall with hot and cold water allows year round bathing if required. A boarders tack room has individual lockers for your convenience and blankets are hung and stored in a separate area. Washroom facilities with a washer/dryer, and a heated/air-conditioned viewing room with fridge and microwave are some of the luxuries included at Misty Meadows.
