Misty
Meadows is a life long dream of owner Lisa Cruickshank
and is a family run business that was established in
2003 near Paris Ontario. As a child Lisa was brought up
through the Pony Club ranks and has shown on the hunter
circuit. Having a keen interest and knowledge of horses
has evolved to the establishment of Misty Meadows
Equestrian Centre Inc.
We are centrally located to Paris, Ayr, Cambridge, Brantford, Kitchener, and Woodstock and our barn is an approved riding establishment under the OEF – Horse Advisory Council (formerly ARE-ONT.) Our philosophy is to teach horsemanship and riding to all levels of students in a safe, clean, and friendly atmosphere. At Misty Meadows we aim to teach students in a positive learning environment . Horsemanship, stable management and English hunter/jumper riding is what we focus on. We work with students of all ages and place them in appropriate lessons for their abilities and their goals.

The facilities at Misty Meadows were built in 2003.
We have 15 box stalls that have automatic water bowls,
rubber mats and windows in each stall. Nine pony stalls
of various sizes are also available.
The indoor arena is 180 X 70 feet and the fenced outdoor sand ring is 100 X 200 feet. The footing is maintained daily in both rings. Large end doors allow excellent ventilation in the summer for the indoor arena. A heated /air-conditioned viewing room is located to overlook both indoor and outdoor rings.
A wash stall with hot/cold water, washroom facilities and a boarders tack room are some of the luxuries included at Misty Meadows.
The staff at Misty Meadows are professional, courteous and friendly. We aim to provide the best service to all our clients. The 2 coaches on staff have many years experience teaching students of all ages and have up to date training in first aid. Communications is our top priority and we provide ample opportunities for students, parents, boarders and campers to evaluate and give us feedback. We are always incorporating new ideas at Misty Meadows to better serve our clients.
